Wisteria by Christopherson Homes is First Community in California to be Approved by California's New Solar Homes Partnership
Sacramento, CA (July 10, 2007) - The new home community of Wisteria by Christopherson Homes in Rocklin, California is the first community to be approved by the State of California under its New Solar Homes Partnership (NSHP) program.

As part of the California Solar Initiative (CSI), NSHP provides significant rebates for homes that feature solar electric systems, achieve at least 15 percent above current Title 24 Standards, and include ENERGY STAR appliances. Through partnering with the state's utilities to provide commensurate energy efficiency rebates, NSHP encourages homes to be built to a Tier II efficiency level, i.e. 35-40% above current Title 24 Standards. Old Country Roofing Debuts First Solar Home Building Partners
Sacramento, CA (April 10 2007) - Old Country Roofing (OCR), Northern California's largest roofing company, in partnership with BP Solar, Fat Spaniel Technologies and Xantrex Technology Inc, announced today that they have signed agreements with two of California's top builders to have solar-power roofing in four new and upcoming communities.

Christopherson Homes and Tim Lewis Communities have both signed agreements to use OCR's comprehensive turn-key solution, powered by BP Solar's EnergyTileTM, that includes both roofing and solar solutions for new homes. This is a first and a major, new trend as California strives to reach its objective of energy savings with one million solar homes by 2018.

Christopherson Homes has signed an agreement to build 127 homes in Fiddyment, Roseville and 30 homes in Wisteria, Rocklin.
